Location: Whitby, N,Yorks England
Age: Upper Lias, Alum shale's 180 million years old
Description: Cut polished section through a single
 Vertebra showing the honey cone structure of the
bone also shows off the distinct shallow centre of  a
Plesiosaur vertebra unlike the deep centre of the
Ichthyosaur Vertebra, rare to see cross sectioned
like this a very good addition to the collection.
