Polished Pyrite Cannon Balls from the Yorkshire Coast.
These stunning objects are sourced, collected and prepared by Mike Marshall of
Yorkshire Coast Fossils from along the coastline around Whitby for the past
35 years, only one in ten of these pyrite nodules contains an Ammonite,
so only a limited amount are found each year of this quality that are
worth spending the time and the effort that is required to prepare and polish these
very desirable objects, a piece of natural art in its own right.
