Description: Displayed on cut base shelly matrix is a
highly polished Ammonite & Gastropod from the Frodingham Ironstone Displaying
some stunning colours of different shades of greens browns & whites all preserved in
Calcite, these Ammonites are so rare now especially with a Gastropod on the same
piece of rock which are not common, they are a true collectors fossil or as a conversation
piece for display in the home or office, the quarries that yielded these beautiful fossils
were closed some thirty years ago which is when these were collected.
These natural pieces of art are becoming increasingly hard to obtain and only
a limited number appear on the market for sale each year.
well worthy of a place in any collection or as a decor piece of natural
art in the home or office.
